This had nothing to do with Marner setting the market anyway. It's a really good group of RFA's that want to get paid. Both sides are using whatever leverage they have with the opening of camp being a tipping point, followed by the first game of the season, followed by December 1. |

And the ones that aren't on Twitter are just him making random poop up claiming it's from a solid source just for clicks.
People don't come on here for rumors, they simply come on here to talk hockey on their teams forum and he should be thankful for that. |

The other RFA's team are not in cap hell like the Leafs so they, the RFA other than Marner can hold out much longer (december 1st) to get deal done.

I just like EK's avatar. Its both kind of eerie and mean.
I also think he does have legit sources. He was the only one that reported the Evander Kane and Seth Jones deals (accurately) prior to when they broke. |
